Nintendo Gamecube - Gamecube Hardware Cheats Different sound on start-up: To have a different sound on start-up, hold Z while the GameCube logo is forming. It's much different then the original. Spin Gamecube logo at startup screen: When you start your GCN, hold the 'A' button and the logo spins around. Set system time and options: : Hold A while powering on the system. Alternately, hold A while the cube rolls around the screen. Access System Menu with Game in System: Normally, when you turn on the Gamecube without a game inside, it'll bring you to the system menu, where you can change the day/time, memory card info, etc. You can access it if you have a game in the system when you turn it on, too! Just hold A when you turn on the system. When the Gamecube logo comes on, it'll spin really fast and morph into the system menu.
